Ellen Lecureux

As a fiber artist, Ellen Lecureux strives to create landscape quilts that lure the viewer into experiencing a bit of magic. Recreating a scene by selecting fabric, specialty thread and embellishments, she “paints” a 3-D image, drawing the observer into the artwork domain. Each piece stimulates her to bring the quilt to life, be it the beauty of nature, the recall of a fond memory, or the capture of an individual emotion or story. Particular attention to choice of colors, textures, and area of focus allows Ellen to be creative in achieving these goals.
